Our Story
Classifindr was built out of frustration. We spent too much time manually refreshing marketplace sites, watching for deals that became unavailable before we could respond. We built Classifindr to solve that problem: a structured way to monitor online marketplaces and get alerted shortly after matching checks find listings.
What started as a personal tool quickly grew into something bigger. We realised that deal hunters, resellers, collectors, and small businesses all share the same challenge: keeping up with marketplace listings is repetitive, time-consuming, and easy to overlook. Classifindr automates that work so you can focus on what matters: responding to the right listings at the right time.
What We Do
Classifindr monitors Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree (Australia and UK), Craigslist, Trade Me, Kijiji, and OfferUp with searches checked every 1, 10, or 60 minutes against your criteria. You define your searches with keywords, location, price range, and filters. The system checks platforms at the speed you choose, applies your rules and AI filtering, and delivers alerts through the channels you choose when matches are found.
Alerts arrive through mobile push, Telegram, Discord, email, or Web Push. You pick the channels that fit your workflow. Whether you want a native app ping on your phone or a notification in your Discord server, Classifindr delivers listings where you need them.

Our Approach
The principles that guide how we build and operate Classifindr.
Transparency
Every search shows current health status so you know what is happening. We are upfront about the best-effort nature of marketplace monitoring, with no misleading promises about perfect coverage or alert timing.
Security
We never ask for your marketplace login credentials. Your account is protected with passwordless authentication, passkey support, and strict tenant data isolation. Your data stays yours.
Flexibility
Unit-based pricing means you pay for what you use. Five notification channels give you control over how and where you receive alerts. Activate and deactivate searches whenever you want, with no penalties and no lock-in.
Simplicity
No browser extensions, no complex setup. Create an account, configure a search, choose your notification channels, and you are done. Use the hosted web app or native mobile apps while Classifindr monitors in the background.

- Facebook Marketplace - local listings across categories such as vehicles, furniture, electronics, and rentals, with availability varying by region.
- Gumtree Australia - Australian classifieds searches for local buying, selling, rentals, vehicles, and household goods.
- Gumtree UK - United Kingdom classifieds searches across supported locations and categories.
- Craigslist - classifieds searches across supported United States and Canadian city boards.
- Trade Me - New Zealand marketplace searches across supported regions and categories.
- Kijiji - Canadian classifieds searches for vehicles, rentals, electronics, furniture, and local deals.
- OfferUp - United States local marketplace searches with location, radius, category, condition, and price filters.
